Garbage Collection, Composting, and Recycling

Residential waste collection within our community is managed by Central Newfoundland Waste Management.

Collection is scheduled three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If a scheduled collection day falls on a statutory holiday, service will be rescheduled accordingly. Residents may view the holiday collection schedule by visiting the CNWM website under Collection Schedules and selecting Ward 10..

Please note that CNWM will not collect waste placed inside garbage boxes, freezers, refrigerators, drums, or similar containers. All waste must be placed curbside on your designated collection day and must be properly covered or enclosed. Acceptable methods include the use of blankets, tarps, nets, or portable waste bins constructed of plastic or metal.

If your waste is not collected on your scheduled day, please contact CNWM directly at 709-653-2900.

For additional information regarding collection requirements, residents are encouraged to visit the CNWM website at www.cnwmc.com.

CNWM will also provide updates through its official social media channels and via Voyent Alert! Residents may access the CNWM Facebook page through the link provided below to stay informed of any service changes or delays.
