Water Restriction Notice

Effective immediately, the Town of Lewisporte is implementing water use restrictions to help conserve our water supply during this period of extreme heat and low precipitation.

Under the restrictions, the following activities are permitted:

– watering of plants, flowers, vegetable gardens and newly seeded or sodded lawns.

– operation of commercial car wash stations.

All other non-essential water use is temporarily prohibited.

This is a temporary conservation measure. Town officials will continue to monitor water levels and will adjust or lift the restrictions as conditions allow.
