At the July 2 public council meeting, there was discussion by Council about how to register with the Family Care Teams.
Since then, the Town of Lewisporte has received the following information from NL Health Services, Family Care Teams Lewisporte Manager to clarify the onboarding process:
– The Family Care Team (FCT) is not currently offering walk-in or same-day services.
– Patients who have registered with Patient Connect NL will be contacted when it is their turn to join the FCT.
– If you do not currently have a healthcare provider, you can register online at
patientconnect.nlchi.nl.ca or by calling 1-833-913-4679.
– Once the Family Care Team is ready to begin accepting patients, they will contact those on the list to schedule appointments.
