 n Hall\n\n\n\nResidents are invited to attend an open house and public hea
 ring on Tuesday July 23\, 2024\, at 7:0\n\n0 pm at the Town Hall about the
  Lewisporte Municipal Plan and Development Regulations 2024. The Town Coun
 cil of Lewisporte is reviewing its Municipal Plan and Development Re\n\ngu
 lations to address current and future development opportunities and challe
 nges over the next 10 years.\n\nA Municipal Plan is a policy framework gui
 ding Lewisporte’s growth. The Development Regulations establish standard
 s used to approve new buildings and development.\nThe current Lewisporte M
 unicipal Plan and Development Regulations came into effect in September 20
 05.  Since that time\, they have been amended to accommodate development 
 proposals and update standards. The existing Municipal Plan\, Development 
 Re\n\ngulations\, along with the amendments can be viewed on the Departmen
 t of Municipal and Provincial Affairs registry of land use plans. The regi
 stry also allows the future land use and zoning maps to be downloaded onto
  Google Earth https://www.gov.nl.ca/mpa/registry/community/lewisporte/\n\n
 Everyone is welcome.  Come to the open house and public meeting and share
  your input about the future of Lewisporte.\nWritten comments and input ma
 y also be submitted including requests to rezone land or descriptions of f
 uture projects or initiatives.
